a
professional model. Internationally and locally, she has what it
takes to succeed in the modeling business: beauty, common sense and
a great attitude. Diamond was noticed at the age of 9 by a
New York Modeling Agency who
specializes in children. Even before then, she had thoughts of
becoming a model. Now 15 and 5’7,
she is more focused and eager than ever. Though she lives the
teenage experience, she is fully aware of her potential. She has
surpassed her peers and has above average talents in dancing, is an
expert poser, has above average runway skills and is extremely
photogenic. During spring and summer 2008, she assisted in helping
new models with proper posing techniques and has helped adults and
children learn how to strut on the runway. Diamond won best attire
in the Sunburst USA
International Beauty Pageant 2007
and placed first runner-up in the teen model division.
Names she respects in the industry include:
Naomi Campbell, Gucci and
Louis Vitton.
Diamond says she wants to pursue her dream as a model because in the
tough neighborhoods some girls think that making it is not possible.
“I want to show them that you could can make it,” says Diamond,
explaining that one must stay focused and keep at it.
Diamond is available for bookings, including corporate and community
events.

Cooking with New Chef: Mulugeta

Magnifico! Just think of having dinner outsourced and it tasting–
savory and flavorful, just like home.
Mulugeta Abraha is an executive cook with the ability to whip up
self creatives of exotic Eritrean, Ethiopian and
Italian-style Cuisines. One would think typical dishes would be
served, as most restaurants would with the same old stuff,
same old style -- yet upon your table rests a bestowment of
artistic, eye-appealing flavorful, healthy full-course meal with the
appetizer, entrée, main dish and even homemade dessert.
Mulugeta can definitely pop upscale, declan gourmet or just the
traditional classic style.
The meals, which include so many that that they can be indexed, can
be served to suite a family or a just a date. “This rice is
beautiful,” says my 5-year-old daughter who is normally finicky
about rice. To me the rice was one of his more simpler dishes, a
basic white goya-styled rice served with the dinner.
Though the food is culturally inspired and inclined, it is versatile
for any ethnicity, giving way to any international dwelling.
From mild to spicy, among others, the chicken for example, can be
serenaded to a tender taste and served as a doro wat
(Ethiopian/Eritrean) or baked in simmering sauce. Dainty
Italian-style dishes would work well at business meetings, weddings
or just satisfy as a casual dinner.
Though he is diverse in skill, Mulugeta is an expert at
Eritrean/Ethiopian and Italian dishes and has a host of his own
trays including ice cream, frostings and dressings.
Mulugeta has all the skills needed to be successful as a chef. His
attributes include being extremely swift, reliable, and hardworking.
He currently has plans to host a food tasting, publish a book and
open a restaurant. Just call him Bistro Mulugeta.

Beauty from Within...
Your
inner-glow...the way you feel defines the way you want to be
perceived. If you feel good on the inside, you will feel good
on the outside. If you treat yourself well mentally on the
inside, you will feel good on the outside. If you treat
yourself mentally and spiritually, you will feel good on the
outside. If you treat yourself mentally, spiritually and
intellectually, you will feel good on the outside. The way you
feel about yourself is the way you want to be perceived.
Your outer-glow...the way you look defines
how you feel on the
inside and it defines the way you want to be perceived.
If you get your hair styled, your nails done, buy a new outfit and
get a make-over, you are making up what you look like on the
outside. If you do not feel as good as you do on the inside as
you look on the outside, you are giving off false perceptions to the
public. You will not be glowing because your personality will
prevail and what the public will see is a nice-looking person on the
outside, but when they speak of your personality, reality will tell.
If
you know who you are and your purpose in life--and you are working
to achieve your goal in some way shape or form, and you are at a
state of mind that no one will ever reach; if you know of a
being that can give you answers when in doubt and you feel that you
have been ethical in your decisions; and if you researched and asked
"Why?"--you are Real.
In
real fashion, you can not feel good on the outside without feeling
good on the inside.
